Web fax or e-Fax services Print E-mail
Wednesday, 30 August 2006
Web fax or e-Fax services that charge a fee also allow you to receive fax and view it on the Web. You can easily search on the Internet to find out about the sites that offer you this service. If you send and receive faxes on a regular basis and you have a fully-equipped laptop computer as your briefcase then subscribing with a paid service will be an excellent option.

Some of the popular online fax services are MyFax, GreenFax, TrustFax, RapidFax and FaxAge. Monthly fee ranges from $7 to $70 per month depending on the kind of services you want to avail. Mostly these services are getting a private fax number, and the amount of pages that can be sent and received per month. Some of them charge on a minute-basis, for example 5 cents per minute of sending and receiving fax. You can also get unlimited access on a monthly payment. But this kind of membership costs a little more than other types.

Web fax allows you to send fax from a windows application and receive fax in your e-mail account. ClickFax is an example of this kind of fax service. If you only want to send faxes then using free online services is a cost-effective option. You only need a computer and an Internet connection. What you do is open the webpage, enter the number you want to send the fax to, type information and send it. It’s as easy as that!
